Shopping

Orders are delivered twice a week Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. weather permitting. Inclement weather can cause a delay in service up to 24 hours.

If your order totals $50.00 or more after discounts and taxes your order has free delivery within 10 Miles of Northwest Detroit or Redford, Michigan. Beyond this service area, we will deliver to Washtenaw County, Oakland County and Macomb County for an additional $20.00 fee. This fee covers the cost of gas and the delivery person's time outside of our normal service area.

Yes, you will receive a printed copy of your online order to compare against your original order.


Gift Cards

After purchase, you will get an email with a unique gift card code and instructions on how to use it. The email subject is “Your gift card is ready”. It’s automatically sent to your email address as soon as the order processed.

You can forward the email or send the gift card link via SMS or messenger. You will get a link by clicking the "View Gift Card" button in the email. The email will contain all the needed information: a link Charles Collectibles and Books (www.ccandbooks.com) where the card can be applied, current gift card balance, and instructions on how to use it.

Yes, you can use a gift card in multiple orders until the entire balance is spent or the card expires (whichever happens earlier).

No. You can only apply one gift card to an order.

Upon placing your online order, customers will receive an email stating which carrier the package was shipped with and an actual tracking number.

Customers deciding to reject or not accept an order after shipping has taken place will incur a $15.00 restocking fee plus the cost of shipping to their place of delivery. This means that form of payment; (i.e., via credit card or debit card could be assessed a fee). As a small independent business, we ask that when placing all orders in your virtual shopping cart that you are certain of your purchase. Due to supply chain issues, our inventory is not at full capacity and want to ensure all customers receive their orders in a timely and satisfied manner.
